I'm getting HUGE!

People keep saying I have really popped out in the last few weeks. Now, I have been feeling huge for quite awhile but I decided to take a picture in the same outfit I wore about a week and a half ago to see the difference. Now, I kind of understand what people are saying. There is a HUGE difference from just a little over a week ago. I haven't gained much weight but she sure is growing!!! Here is the two pictures.

Hanging out with my favorite Charli Kaye

Last weekend I got to hang out with one of my favorite 2 year olds! Although I was exhausted every night I had SOOO much fun! I LOVE this little girl. Here is a little peek at all the fun we had.
On Thursday we drove up to Denver to see some of my friends and CK got to try out the sweet tire swing that Joe put up at my parents, and I would say it was a hit!

While in Denver we went to Red Robin and I accidentally left the sippy cup as well as my left overs. So I felt the need to replace it. As we were leaving Target with a new cup in hand Charli Kaye kept saying, "I love my new cup"

On the drive home Charli Kaye was able to entertain herself until she FINALLY fell asleep, Way past her bedtime. This video is really just audio.

On Friday my mom came down and hung out with us and helped us finish a few things for the baby's room. I only have one picture from that day of CK eating breakfast of waffles.

You can't hang out with a little kid without having at least one cute bath picture.

On Saturday Joe was home and asked Charli Kaye what she wanted for breakfast. Her reply was ice cream. So mister fun pants decided to make her Alaskan Waffles which are topped with ice cream. Needless to say, she LOVED it!!! (shhhh don't tell her mom we gave her ice cream for breakfast)

We took our time getting ready and I was able to put her hair in braids. She sat very still and played a game on my phone while I did her hair.

On our way to Anthony's Birthday Party. CK was being silly and put her jacket on over her carseat.
Enjoying the cheetos and hot dog. The perfect party food. ( I think she managed to only touched me once with those super clean hands)
The Birthday boy who Charli Kaye refers to as her boyfriend and CK looking cute and innocent.

Getting ready for bed after a long eventful day. Such a happy kid!
Sunday Morning ready for church. Her hair just needed a little tightening and the braids were able to stay in. Too Cute!

Playing games at Phil and MeLinda's house.
We had so much fun hanging out and I can't wait to do it again. I just Love seeing this sweet little girl!!!!

32 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 32 Weeks!!! Only 8 weeks left!

Size of baby: 16.7in and 3.75lbs

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 25lbs The doctor said I only gained one pound in the last three weeks but my belly has definitely grown more.

Maternity Clothes: A mix of Maternity and regular clothes. Pants are mostly maternity but I am still wearing mostly my regular shirts. And I am getting tired of the same old things.

Gender: GIRL!!!

Movement: LOTS of movement all day long. The movement has changed to more of her whole body rolling over and moving than just the little kicks. I LOVE feeling her and watching her. It's the most amazing thing!!!

Sleep: Not so good. I wake up several times a night to reposition/pee.

What I miss: Feeling well and not like a whale.

Cravings: Nothing really at this point.

Symptoms: Nausea/vomiting, difficulty breathing, lots of new aches and pains.

Best Moment this week: Getting an invite for my own baby shower. I can't wait!!!

30 Weeks!!!

30 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 30 Weeks!!! Only 10 weeks left!

Size of baby: 15.7in and 2.75lbs

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 24lbs They say from here on out I am supposed to gain 1lb a week. With only 10 weeks left that is only 10lbs. A little more than I had hoped for, but I am definitely not too discouraged.

Maternity Clothes: A mix of Maternity and regular clothes. Pants are mostly maternity but I am still wearing mostly my regular shirts. And I am getting tired of the same old things.

Gender: GIRL!!!

Movement: LOTS of movement all day long. I LOVE feeling her and watching her. It's the most amazing thing!!! Although she is VERY ornery and LOVES to quit moving the second somebody else tries to feel her. She's a sneaky little one.

Sleep: Not so good. I wake up several times a night to reposition/pee.

What I miss: Having my lung space to myself and being able to bend over. Either I am WAY more clumsy since I got pregnant or I just realize how clumsy I am due to this large belly making it difficult to pick up anything off of the floor.

Cravings: Nothing really at this point.

Symptoms: Being short of breath, still having nausea and throwing up.

Best Moment this week: Getting the room painted and set up. Also one of my friends just had her sweet baby girl today and that makes me all the more excited for my sweet little baby girl to be here.

28 Weeks

I AM HUGE!!!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 28 Weeks Finally into my 3rd trimester!!! Only 12 weeks left!

Size of baby: 14.8in and 2.25lbs (we finally made it the pounds!!!)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained around 20lbs still. I go up quickly, then just hang out there for awhile.

Maternity Clothes: A mix of Maternity and regular clothes. Pants are mostly maternity but I am still wearing mostly my regular shirts. All of my maternity shirts are huge still. Even though my belly is ginormous.

Gender: GIRL!!!

Movement: LOTS of movement all day long. I hope she continues the moving during the day and sleeping at night thing. I LOVE feeling her and watching her. It's the most amazing thing!!!

Sleep: Not so good. I wake up several times a night to reposition. My pregnancy pillow helps a lot but I still don't sleep very soundly. And now I have scary dreams to add to the mix. Usually she is big and doing things a newborn shouldn't do, like walking and talking.

What I miss: Having my lung space to myself.

Cravings: The only thing I really crave right now is soft serve ice cream!!!

Symptoms: Being short of breath, still having nausea and occasionally throwing up.

Best Moment this week: Getting things ready. I LOVE washing all the little clothes I've gotten. I even bought some shoes that I am TOTALLY excited about even though I know she will probably only ever wear them for a short time. Also today at work some of my friends were able to see her move which was pretty cool.A little sneak peek of my puppy. The coolest thing about all these shoes is that they were $1.50 or less at a consignment shop and garage sale.

Sneak Peek at the Nursery

I've decided not to put pictures up of the nursery projects until the entire nursery is complete. However, after a rather eventful day today I've decided to put a little peek into what the nursery is going to look like. I am super excited and nervous about how it is going to turn out. Especially with the paint color. The walls will all be green and a VERY BRIGHT green it is. Even a little brighter than I had planned.

We've decided to do the base green and then accent with pink. We have some ideas for things to put on the wall that are pink and then planned to also paint our glider and a little table pink. My sister in law Stacia was so grateful to come down and help with the painting, however neither of us really planned out this next part. We decided that painting on the porch would be the best for the pink things. We planned to lay a piece of foam down to protect the concrete from our mess. As I was trying to move things around I bumped the can of paint that had already been opened. And now we have a pink porch.

We were actually able to get quite a bit of paint BACK into the can without it being too messed up. We were also able to get the majority of the pain off of the porch with water and a LOT of scrubbing. We probably would have been done with our project by the time we actually started had we not had this mishap. And because of this a slew of other unfortunate events took place. Stacia cut her toe with the scraper, we ran into the BIGGEST spider either of us had ever seen outside of the zoo, Stacia almost drank a fly for her cup but spit it out when she felt something MOVING in her mouth, and I stepped backward off of the porch while rearranging the things to be painted. Not only did I step off but I made sure to run my shin down the side of the cement.
Eventually we finished a first coat on everything but then did not have time to do a second coat before Stacia had to take off. Joe and I did the second coat on the walls but the smaller pink things will have to wait for another day to be finished. I'm even going to include a picture of the "theme"/material that I am using to make all of the bedding. The colors in this picture are off a bit from what they actually look like in person.
And I couldn't write a post without adding a bump picture. My mom took this picture the day we made the crib bumper. Unknowing to us that it would be an ALL DAY project. We had a lot of fun making it but it was definitely time consuming and more difficult than anticipated. Also, this child BETTER BE A GIRL! haha 26 Weeks
