Girls News Rooms

We've had an interesting couple of years in transition. We bought a house before we started having kids then we decided to up and move. Well that move brought some changes we weren't really prepared for, such as Denver housing market and changes in jobs. We didn't ever lack a warm place to lay our heads but we did have to sqeeze our family of 4 into a two bedroom apartment and then the 5 of us into a 2 bedroom townhome and we always had what we needed but God provided a lovely house for us that we will hopefully grow old in! ( I will be 30 in which means I'm practically there) We plan to use this awesome home for God and to serve Him. So into the fun part, decorating. Each girl has their own room and we've had a blast doing them different. The girls love their rooms. Here are some photos.

Not Quite A Year Yet

Mayzie 11 months old 

Just like I'm not even 30 (at least until July) Mayzie isn't one, until next month. I am very excited that she is growing and healthy but a little sad that this first year ha gone so fast. Mayzie you are such a sweet happy girl. 

~Weight 21#

~Wearing 12-18 month clothes but size 2 shoes. 

~crawling everywhere and walking around everything but you still won't take the plunge

~ you got to celebrate your first Broncos Super Bowl win!!!

~ climbing up stairs but nothing else... Yet. 

~ you now have 6 teeth peeking through 

Too close to a year.

Mayzie baby girl you are growing WAY TOO FAST!!! Slow down sweet thing! This 10 month has been a crazy busy month with lots and lots of changes. 

~weight is about 20# 

~wearing 12 month clothes

~ starting to try lots of different foods and so far you aren't too picky. You do like to take your time eating but will eat most anything. 

~sleeping, well you've slept all night in your own bed the last 5 nights but that is a first in a long time and you are a horrible napper. Somedays you give me one good long nap but most days it's 30 min here and 45 there but not much longer. 

~ you are crawling everywhere and love to pull your self up and walk around things

~ you love love love your sisters and watching everything they do. 

~ you celebrated your First Christmas!!! You weren't too interested in opening gifts but you loved the wrapping paper!

~ you have a 2nd tooth popped through on the bottom and one popping through on the top

~ you got WAY too many presents, but your favorite toy is an old music table. 

~ you are talking more and more but not really saying any words yet

~ you love your momma more than anyone. Another little momma's girl. 

~ you got to move into a new home! 

~ you have your own room for the first time ( and your own bathroom haha) 

~ you are a happy happy baby

~ you are full of your own personality already 

~ you are always stylin'

~ you experienced the stock show for the first time.

9 month Mayzie baby!

Mayzarooni baby you are 9 months old!!!This has been an exciting month as you become more and more mobile and are turning into a playful active baby.

~ love standing but not walking

~ love your sisters and are even starting to follow them 

~ celebrated your first Thanksgiving 

~you got your first tooth!!! 

~you've started staying into the church nursery pretty consistnently 

~ you've turned into a terrible sleeper, short naps and will only sleep with momma at nighttime. 

~attended your first parade of lights

Can't wait to celebrate your first Christmas and see your new discoveries this next month! Love you baby girl! 

Mayzie Baby is 8 months!

Mayzie girl you are now 8 months old and are as sweet as can be. You've changed a lot in this last month. And continue to change everyday. Daddy and I love you to the moon and back and your sisters are still pretty smitten and often asking if they can hold you which is much different now than it was when you were first born. You've hit the 8 month stranger anxiety and are definitely going through a mommy phase.

~size 6-9 month clothes. 

~you have one tooth trying so hard to peek through. 

~ you scoot on your back, roll everywhere, and even get up on your hands and knees but haven't figured out the crawling yet. It won't be long though. 

~ you love to stand and play

~ you're perfecting your jump in the jumperoo

~ you are content to play for longer bits of time and Love to watch your sisters play. 

~ you celebrated your first Halloween

~ you love to smile and have such a sweet demeanor. 

Mayzie May is 7 months

Mayzie Maze you are seven months old. You are such a sweet momma lovin girl. If mommy is around you want me but if I'm not you do fine with others. You've changed a lot this past month. Let's see what's new. 

~weight 18.2#

~Wearing some 3-6 mo but mostly 6-9 mo. 

~ size 1-2 shoes. (1 for length 2 for fatness)

~ you are rolling more and more and scooting on your back 

~ talking a lot more and more content to just play 

~ you've started sleeping in a big girl crib in a room with your sisters 

~ you are teething and drooling
like crazy but no teeth popping through yet. 

~ you are sitting up

~ you love to watch your sisters and play with them, but you prefer quick hugs and not to be laid on or squished (not to mention any names... Brinkley)
